Caffeine Awareness!

So this month - march- is dedicated to caffeine. If you are anything like me then you will find it is impossible to move in the mornings without a cup of tea: so its really not that surprising that us brits drinks 165,000,000 cups everyday! Another staggering figure is that 27% of people surveyed drink more than 6 cups of tea a day!

Of course there is a lot more to caffeine than just tea, we mustn't forget coffee, cola and energy drinks. Now I- as a worthy information blog- am at liberty to tell you that caffeine can cause addiction, palpitations and is dangerous if too much is consumed. The guidelines for consumption say healthy adults should stay below 300-500 milligrams a day. So be careful (especially with caffeine in tablet form).


There's a lot I could say but you wouldn't read it (lets be honest here) so I was directed to this video a while ago by a friend. At the time I was joking that I was so tired I was going to resort to inhaling teabags!
